Your trip to Burgundy is not complete without a visit to the Hospices de Beaune or Hôtel-Dieu de Beaune, a former charity hospice founded in 1443 by the Chancellor of Burgundy as a hospital for the poor. It is one of the most beautiful examples of 15th century French architecture , with its Gothic façades, and roofs lined with geometrical figures in flamboyant colours.

Protected in an exceptional state of preservation, this monument is a rare example of civil architecture from the Middle Ages. Its rooms bring together a vast collection of objects, furniture, and tapestry of that era.

Fromagerie Gaugry

We developed our production site visit to provide transparency and an educational experience.

This project lets us show the steps involved in manufacturing cheese without taking any sanitary risk thanks to a glassed-in visitors’ gallery that that runs across all of the production rooms, and we produced three presentation videos in French, English and German.

We also offer cheese tastings, enabling you to discover our specialities that are an integral part of the Burgundy heritage.

We offer two ways to visit our production site; as an Unaccompanied visit or on a Guided tour . We recommend the morning visit, during production hours.

Domaine Michel Magnien

Our 18 hectare wine growing estate, located in the Côte de Nuits region, is divided into 23 Grands Crus, Premier Crus, Village, and regional AOCs.

Bio-lunar agriculture... At each step, all work is punctuated by the synodic revolutions of the moon. Our vineyards and wines fully respect the strict observance of the principles of biodynamic agriculture.

Thanks to Michel Magnien, and the attention he pays to his vines over the years, the wine is unique and faithful to the most noble terroirs of Burgundy. Frédéric is the 5 th generation to manage this estate, applying himself to raising our wines to the highest level of quality.
